There are still concerns regarding the multimillion-dollar construction in North Little Rock

North Little Rock, Arkansas – Rumors of a multimillion-dollar development coming to North Little Rock have been swirling for months.

Recently, some of you have even asked us questions about the future of this project.

In the fall of last year, Altis Capital unveiled its plans for the “Diamond Valley Development” in North Little Rock.

A trampoline park, an arcade, a hotel and spa with a plunge balcony swimming pool, and a speakeasy-style restaurant and bar are just a few of the commercial properties that would be present.

Over 6,000 employees would be created, and the overall cost would be about $346 million.

Since our previous update, no further steps have been taken with the development.

The planning division of North Little Rock has determined that Altis Capital does not have any licenses or permits.

We left a message with Altis Capital after contacting them to find out where they are in the procedure. But we haven’t heard anything back yet.

Terry Hartwick, the mayor of North Little Rock, said he is not upset about the project’s stalemate.

“Think about it Dickey Stephens, Wyndham, a conference center, Simmons Arena, and another hotel,” advised Mayor Hartwick.

He has more riverside developments in mind, some of which are currently in the works.

Makan Hospitality and North Little Rock have been collaborating to transform the site of the former Greyhound Bus Station into a five-star hotel.

A new 14-story hotel, condo, restaurant, and office building are all planned for the project.

The mayor also intends to construct a brand-new convention center with space for 1,000 guests.

The sale of the Greyhound Bus Station lot has been given the go-ahead by the North Little Rock city council. The approval of a conference center in the city center has not yet been decided.
