Arkansas – The National Deer Association named Jeremy Brown, Deer Management Assistance Program Coordinator for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, as its 2024 Professional Deer Manager of the Year.
The award recognizes individuals with significant field experience who have made a notable impact on deer management and hunting through education, research, or conservation efforts on public or private lands.
Brown, based in Jonesboro, expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the collaborative effort behind wildlife management.
He oversees the Deer Management Assistance Program and is involved in multiple conservation initiatives, including the Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry and the Southeast Deer Technical Committee.
