Highway 344 is scheduled to close for approximately 24 hours beginning at 5 a.m. Wednesday, December 13, state officials say

Fort Smith, Ark. – State officials have announced that working crews will replace box culverts on Columbia Lake Road just west of Magnolia.

According to ARDOT, the following detours have been set up to avoid the area:

• Heading South: Highway 82 West to Highway 371 South
• Heading North: Highway 371 South to Highway 82 West

Traffic will be controlled with the use of barrels, barricades, and signage.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
