Arkansas – Highway 164 near Harmony will close from 7 a.m. Monday, March 3, through 5 p.m. Friday, March 14, to allow crews to replace a drainage structure.
The closure will be in effect around the clock.
The project, located 2.5 miles west of the Highway 103 intersection, involves removing a narrow bridge and replacing it with a box culvert.
Weather permitting, crews will complete the work within the scheduled timeframe.
Digital message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage will alert motorists to the closure.
Travelers on either side of the affected area will need to plan their detour routes accordingly.
Detour routes:
– Highway 103 to Highway 164 east: Take Highway 103 south to Clarksville, then Highway 64 west to Interstate 40 westbound, exit at 47, and head north on Highway 164.
– Highway 103 to Highway 164 west: Take Highway 164 south to Interstate 40 eastbound, exit at 55, take Highway 64 east to Clarksville, and head north on Highway 103.
