Firefighters from the Fort Smith Fire Department responded to structure fire with three pumper trucks, two ladder trucks, a rescue unit, and two battalion chiefs to manage the situation efficiently

Fort Smith, Ark. – Firefighters from the Fort Smith Fire Department were dispatched to a structure fire.

Upon arrival, they encountered flames in the attic, but thanks to the quick and decisive actions of the crew, the fire was swiftly brought under control.

Firefighters executed an aggressive interior attack and removed the ceiling, preventing the fire from spreading further.

The department responded with three pumper trucks, two ladder trucks, a rescue unit, and two battalion chiefs to manage the situation efficiently.

The Fort Smith Fire Department is now accepting applications for 15 highly motivated individuals interested in becoming firefighters.

The application period is open until September 1.
