Fort Smith, Ark. – Fort Smith Police responded to a domestic situation in the 3900 block of South 18th Street on Sept. 26, according to the department.
Police said a significant law enforcement presence remained in the area as officers worked at the scene.
Residents and drivers were asked to avoid the immediate area and give officers room to respond while the situation was being handled.
