Arkansas – The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is offering college students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in conservation through summer internships. The deadline to apply is March 15.
Interns will have the chance to explore various aspects of conservation and preservation efforts.
The experience allows students to see how different skills and backgrounds come together to drive progress. According to former interns, being part of these efforts and witnessing the success made over the summer is both rewarding and fulfilling.
Internships are available for students majoring in fields such as forestry, wildlife management, fisheries management, environmental science, biological research, and law enforcement.
These part-time positions provide special opportunities and training, offering valuable insights into the conservation field.
Many interns also get the chance to learn about daily operations, including research in hatcheries or labs.
