Officials in Little Rock will vote on a plan regarding a fire station that was damaged by a tornado

Little Rock, Arkansas – The plan to demolish and dismantle fire station number nine on Shackleford Road will be put to a vote by city council members this week.

The tornado on March 31 caused significant damage to the fire station.

One of the things on the Little Rock Board of directors’ agenda for their meeting on Tuesday night is to approve the demolition contract.

A contract for up to $87,400 would be permitted by the resolution to remove the land.
