Students at Arkansas State University-Beebe’s Vanguard Discovery Camp learn about STEAM vocations

Beebe, Arkansas – A STEAM camp is being investigated by elementary school and middle school students at Arkansas State University in Beebe.

Children at the Vanguard DISCOVERY Camp will examine their options for professions in math, science, technology, engineering, and the arts, according to university officials. For students entering grades fourth through sixth, the camp will run from June 19 to June 23.

The Arkansas Storm team also paid the camp a visit to present to the youngsters weather-related experiments and presentations.

The goal of the camp, according to representatives of it, is to provide kids with a delightful introduction to the outside world as well as employment options.

The camps were held in the first couple weeks of June on the campuses in Searcy and Heber Springs.
