Maumelle, Arkansas – On Thursday night, the body of a teacher at Maumelle Charter Middle School who died in a fatal vehicle accident earlier this month was laid to rest.
Younger than 23 years old was Anna Beth Rose.
Anna’s mother, Angel Duncan, claims that love was at the core of her life, particularly when she was teaching her students.
Anna Rose passed away on November 19 in Jacksonville after being involved in an automobile accident.
“As much as it hurts, we know that she ran into the arms of Jesus,” said Duncan.
The fourth grade was taught by Rose at Maumelle Charter Middle School. Since she was a little child, Duncan’s daughter has reportedly enjoyed children.
Rose, according to her, had only started working at Maumelle Charter in August.
“To know that she touched so many kids in this short amount of time, that’s a blessing.”
Paula Newton, the school’s principal, issued a statement that stated:
“Anna was a dedicated and passionate member of the Maumelle Charter Middle School fourth-grade teaching staff. She always went above and beyond to ensure that every student she came in contact with felt loved and supported, as well as her work family and teaching team. She was loved by students and teachers alike and was a light in any room she was in. Mrs. Rose will be dearly missed, and we look to honor her through continued compassionate teaching and a love for our students.“
Paisley, a baby who is 14 months old, was left behind by Anna.
Duncan claims that she continued to influence people’s lives after she passed away.
According to Anna’s mother, she donated five of her organs and was an organ donor.
“That gave me some comfort knowing that somebody else is going to live and Anna Beth would have wanted it that way.”
Anna was a wife, big sister, and athlete in addition to being a teacher, mother, and daughter. She was happy about everything.
