Fort Smith, Ark. – Officers from the Fort Smith Police Department attended storytime at the Fort Smith Public Library, bringing smiles to children as they read fun monster-themed books.
Officers Williams, Shoptaw, and Dodson participated in the event, engaging with young readers and creating positive connections within the community.
The children enjoyed the stories and the opportunity to interact with local law enforcement in a friendly and relaxed setting.
The event aimed to foster positive relationships between police officers and the community’s youngest members.
Storytime with the Fort Smith Police Department will continue next month on March 25 at 4 p.m. at the Fort Smith Public Library’s Main Branch.
