Colorado – A Colorado woman was ordered to serve 4 years behind bars and one decade to life the on Se* Offender Intensive Supervision Probation after pleading guilty to multiple charges. The 28-year-old woman, later identified as lmagine, pleaded guilty to se-ual assault on a child by one in a position of trust and contributing to the delinquency of a minor in the first degree. Three other felony counts and one misdemeanor were dismissed in exchange for her guilty plea, the District Attorney said in the statement.
The defendant worked for the school district from 2015 to 2023, holding positions as a school nurse, cIassroom aide and teaching assistant. According to authorities in Colorado, the woman was the designated educational assistant for the victim, who was not identified due to his age, from August 2023 to November 2023. The woman was a assistant in the special needs classrooms.
The investigation process began after the child’s teacher saw lnappropriate writing on the victim’s worksheets. During the investigation process, authorities in Colorado discovered that the boy, 16, and the woman had frequent se-ual encounters, constant digital communication. Prosecutors also said the woman introduced the boy to drugs, alcohol and firearms. According to the court documents, the woman reportedly gave the boy fentanyl.
During the investigation process, the woman even asked the boy to bring a gun to school and shoot her co-worker. She reportedly directed him to bring the gun to school and shoot another faculty member in the leg. Authorities in Colorado revealed that the woman favoritism towards the child was noticed by staff almost immediately, with evidence of an inappropriate relationship beginning in approximately September 2023, the statement said. The woman apologized to the victim and his family when she was sentenced.
The victim’s mom, who was not identified reportedly said that the 28-year-old preyed on her child, ‘leading him to believe she genuinely cared for him, all while exploiting him for money and manipulating him into thinking he was ‘the one’. What makes this even more painful is that I trusted the defendant … had I known what was truly happening, I would never have allowed her such close access to him.”
