Fort Smith, Ark. – The Fort Smith Police Department took part in the Fort Smith Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Arkansas on Saturday, successfully braving the cold while raising the most money as a team for the event.
Officers expressed their gratitude to everyone who donated, emphasizing their support for Special Olympics athletes.
Fort Smith Police Department officials released the following statement:
“FSPD survived the Fort Smith Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Arkansas on Saturday and had an incredible time.
We also were able to raise the most money as a team for the event! Thank you to all that donated to this amazing cause to support the best athletes around. Special Olympics Arkansas.”
