Arkansas – ARDOT crews have temporarily closed the bridge over the L’Anguille River on Highway 261 near Caldwell as of Thursday, January 30, following a routine bridge inspection.
The closure is expected to remain in place around the clock, every day, until Friday, February 21, at 5 p.m.
Weather permitting, the closure will allow crews to conduct repairs to the bridge’s substructure.
While the bridge will be closed to through traffic, the highway will remain open to local traffic on either side of the closure.
Digital message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage will be in place to inform motorists of the closure and guide them through the area.
