Fort Smith, Ark. – Fort Smith Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of North 6th Street and Fischer Avenue, with injuries unknown at this time.
Authorities said the crash caused traffic delays in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.
Motorists were advised to avoid the intersection and use alternate routes when possible.
In addition to the crash, officials noted there was damage to nearby utility lines that was not related to the accident.
Repairs will be required, which may extend delays in the area.
