Fort Smith, Ark. – Fort Smith Police Department officials announced that the Gun-Smart Program aims to educate gun owners on the importance of properly securing their firearms to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.
Police officials also said that the key message of the Gun-Smart Campaign is simple: lock up guns when not in use, and don’t leave them in your car, especially if they are visible.
