Puppy that survived an east Arkansas house fire is “happy running around”

Little Rock, Arkansas – After escaping Wednesday’s house fire in east Arkansas, a puppy is happy to be alive.

The dog was saved from the house close to the intersection of North Izard Street and East Arkansas Avenue, according to Forrest City fire authorities.

The fire department posted on Facebook that the dog was “happy running around the yard” after escaping with “minor burns.”

There were no other recorded injuries.

This house fire was the second structure fire that the Forrest City Fire Department responded to on Wednesday, according to them.
