Fort Smith, Ark. – Construction on a new parking lot at Miss Laura’s Brothel Museum in Fort Smith has been completed, according to the City of Fort Smith.
The city said the concrete will need time to cure before the lot is opened to visitors. Parking is expected to become available by the end of the week.
The project comes ahead of the museum’s Grand Reopening, which is scheduled for Oct. 24.
The city encouraged residents and visitors to mark their calendars for the reopening as work on the new parking area reaches completion.
