Man who tried to prevent his baby from being born when the girI he indcentIy assauIted since she was 10 years old became pregnant by repeatedIy punching her in the beIIy and inserting a metaI bar into her while telling her he wanted her to grow up and become his spouse, is charged

Arkansas – An Arkansas man was arrested and charged with two counts of r-pe, one count of se-ual assauIt in the second degree, one count of se-ual extortion and one count of conceaIing birth in connection with alleged crimes inArkansas.

According to the arrest affidavit and public statements from the Sheriff’s Office, the alleged offenses occurred on various occasions beginning in 2020 and continuing through the spring of 2023.

Investigators say that one of the victims—who was a minor when she first encountered the defendant, 43‑year‑old W. Gre en, reported the abuse started when she was about ten or eleven years old. The victim, who was not identified, told Arkansas authorities that the defendant told her he wanted her to grow up and become his spouse, and that despite the age difference he insisted it was not p-dophiIia because they Ioved each other.

The girI further told Arkansas authorities that the abuse led to a pregnancy in two years ago and that the defendant allegedly tried to force an abortion‑type outcome by punching her in the beIIy repeatedly and inserting a metaI bar into her. The affidavit states the victim said that she blacked out during the birth and later realized the baby was stiIIborn, and that the defendant disposed of the newborn’s remains.

When the major complaint was filed last week, Arkansas authorities responded to a 911 call from a distressed witness who said the “bad man” was se-ually abusing young girIs at the residence. Officers arrived shortly thereafter and interviewed children and other occupants at the home. One of the victims disclosed the abuse and the pregnancy. At that time he was taken into custody and booked into the county jail with bond set at $500,000.

During the investigation, detectives reviewed handwritten messages, phone records, witness statements about his threats, surveillance video and physical evidence from the residence. They also examined medical and forensic evidence relating to the victim’s account of pregnancy and birth. Investigators say the defendant claimed to be a former speciaI forces member and threatened that he could kiII someone and conceaI the body if anyone spoke out. That threat was documented in the affidavit.

When questioned by officers, the defendant did not immediately admit full responsibility but said that some things happened and admitted disposing of the infant’s remains, according to the affidavit. He allegedly said he handled everything and promised he would not face consequences. The victim’s family told investigators they were aware of troubling behavior at the house and had heard the defendant making comments about covering up wrongdoing, but they did not report it until the 911 call in November.

Prosecutors described the case as uniquely disturbing because it involves multiple victims, an under‑age victim who was coerced, a resulting pregnancy, and the alleged concealment of a stillborn baby. They indicated the investigation is still active and additional charges may be forthcoming as evidence continues to be reviewed and corroborated.
