Arkansas – Sarah Huckabee Sanders criticized former President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris following the release of a Democratic National Committee draft report examining the party’s 2024 election loss.
In a social media post on May 21, Sanders reacted to reports surrounding the Democratic “autopsy” review, writing that Biden was “the worst President America has had in decades,” while also criticizing Harris as Democrats’ next nominee.
The comments came after Democrats released a draft internal report analyzing Harris’ defeat in the 2024 presidential election against President Donald Trump.
Multiple reports, including New York Times, said the document partly blamed Biden’s political operation for failing to properly position Harris after Biden withdrew from the race.
According to reporting from several national outlets, the nearly 200-page review criticized Democrats for weak outreach to rural voters, men, and working-class communities while also accusing party leaders of relying too heavily on anti-Trump messaging.
The report also sparked backlash within the Democratic Party after party officials distanced themselves from portions of the document and acknowledged concerns over its findings and release process.
