Arkansas – Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders received a report from the AI and Analytics Center of Excellence with recommendations for adopting artificial intelligence across Arkansas state government.
The report focuses on two areas: improving government effectiveness and ensuring safety, security, and public trust. Recommendations include using AI tools to streamline agency operations, improve program integrity, expand digital services, and enhance employee productivity.
It also calls for measures such as establishing a Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, applying national AI standards, reinforcing cybersecurity, and improving statewide AI literacy.
Governor Sanders said the report provides a framework to modernize government services while protecting citizens from potential misuse of AI.
Officials praised the AI Center of Excellence for producing practical recommendations to improve operations, enhance public services, and prepare the state workforce for the future.
