Arkansas – Sarah Huckabee Sanders issued Executive Order 26-07 on March 13, 2026, amending a previous disaster declaration to provide additional funding for recovery efforts across Arkansas.
The amendment to Executive Order 25-07 follows severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding that began on April 2, 2025, which caused significant damage to communities and public property throughout the state.
Officials said the ongoing impact created a need for continued state assistance.
The updated order authorizes $35,000 from the Governor’s Disaster Response and Recovery Fund.
The funds will be used at the discretion of the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management to support program and administrative costs tied to recovery efforts.
State leaders said the funding will help affected communities continue rebuilding and addressing the impacts of the severe weather.
