Fort Smith, Ark. – The Fort Smith Police Department announced it will host a free crime prevention class aimed at helping families better understand risks facing children and teenagers.
The event, titled “Keeping Kids & Teens Safe: Drugs, Apps, & Other Dangers,” is scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fort Smith Public Library.
According to the department, the class will cover topics including illicit drugs and emerging trends, dangerous phone apps, online risks, and other real-world dangers that can impact young people.
