FSPD highlights week of community connections

Fort Smith, Ark. – The Fort Smith Police Department reported a week filled with community engagement as officers connected with students, families and local partners across the city.

Junior Leadership Fort Smith visited the Department to learn about careers in law enforcement, meeting Chief Baker and spending time with Pawfficer Fuzz.

The visit aimed to encourage interest in public service and leadership among young people.

The Department also noted that FSPD Food Patrol, supported by Evangel Temple, distributed quick meals to children and families at 5900 Kinkead.

Officers said the effort reflected their ongoing commitment to serving the community in meaningful and practical ways.

The Department thanked everyone who contributed to creating positive impacts throughout Fort Smith.
