Fort Smith, Ark. – The Fort Smith Fire Department reported that firefighters responded to a two-story home on Tuesday evening and found heavy fire showing upon arrival.
Crews initially began an interior attack, but rapidly deteriorating conditions forced them to withdraw for safety.
Aerial operations were then used to bring the fire under control. The Department confirmed that no injuries were reported.
