Fort Smith, Ark. – Fort Smith Police Department’s beloved mascot, Pawfficer Fuzz, is officially ready to welcome thousands of visitors to the 2025 Steel Horse Rally.
The department’s four-legged ambassador was recently presented with the first official 2025 Steel Horse Rally pin and patch in a special ceremony, making him rally-ready for the major regional event taking place May 2–3.
Pawfficer Fuzz accepted the honorary items with trademark charm, donning the commemorative gear with pride. The presentation was made by Steel Horse Rally President Dennis Snow, who expressed appreciation for the mascot’s continued role in community engagement and public safety outreach.
“We sincerely appreciate all that Pawfficer Fuzz, Officer Robyn Shoptaw, and all of the other four-legged and two-legged Fort Smith Police Department officers do to ‘purr-tect and serve’ our community,” organizers said.
The Steel Horse Rally, one of the largest motorcycle rallies in the region, brings together riders, families, and supporters for a weekend of festivities honoring veterans, law enforcement, and first responders.
Fort Smith PD’s mascot has become a familiar and uplifting presence at local events, helping bridge the gap between law enforcement and the public.
With his new rally pin and patch proudly displayed, Pawfficer Fuzz is ready for the roar as Fort Smith gears up to host one of its most anticipated events of the year.
