Fort Smith police visit First Lutheran School for Reading Across America event

Fort Smith, Ark. – The Fort Smith Police Department visited First Lutheran School as part of the Reading Across America initiative, engaging with students through storytelling and interactive activities.

Pawfficer Fuzz, Officer Shoptaw, and Officer Williams participated in the event, reading to students and encouraging literacy.

The visit aimed to foster positive connections between law enforcement and the community.

Students also had the opportunity to decorate the department’s Scribble Car, an interactive vehicle designed to promote creativity.

The event was part of FSPD’s ongoing community outreach efforts to support education and build relationships with local youth.
