Fort Smith, Ark. – The Fort Smith Police Department is inviting community members to attend its next Crime Prevention Class, scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the FSPD Community Room.
The free class will focus on common scams, including emerging AI-driven schemes, and is designed to help residents recognize warning signs and protect themselves from fraud. Seating is limited, and registration is required in advance.
Police officials said the class is part of ongoing efforts to educate the public and reduce victimization through awareness and prevention.
