Fort Smith, Ark. – Fort Smith Police responded to a traffic issue on Sept. 4 after a vehicle with a locked transmission stalled at 5800 Rogers Avenue.
According to police, the stalled vehicle was backing up traffic in the area, causing delays for motorists traveling along Rogers Avenue.
Officers provided traffic assistance while waiting for a towing truck to arrive and remove the disabled vehicle.
Police warned drivers traveling through the affected area to expect delays until the vehicle could be towed.
Motorists were advised to use caution and account for additional travel time while passing through the area.
