Fort Smith, Ark. – Several Fort Smith Police Department officers participated in the River Valley Fitness First Responder Power Lift on March 14, joining fellow first responders for a friendly competition that supported a meaningful cause.
The event, held at River Valley Fitness & Training Center, brought together law enforcement, fire, and EMS personnel to test their strength while raising funds for Special Olympics Arkansas.
Proceeds from the competition will help provide opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities to train and compete in sports across the state.
Officials said they were proud of the officers who represented the department both on and off the platform and thanked River Valley Fitness for hosting and supporting first responders through the event.
