Fort Smith, Ark. – A Fort Smith police officer visited Cook Elementary on Wednesday morning to support Reading Across America, while others distributed meals to residents at the Boardwalk Apartments.

Officer Kaehler read to a second-grade class, encouraging students to develop a love for books and learning.

Meanwhile, Officers Shoptaw and Williams participated in the Fort Smith Police Department’s Food Patrol initiative, delivering meals and engaging with the community.
