Fort Smith, Ark. – The Fort Smith Police Department opened its doors to young community members on the evening of January 8, welcoming Pack 123 for a behind-the-scenes look at life in law enforcement.
During the visit, scouts toured the department, explored police equipment, and learned firsthand what it takes to serve and protect the community.
Officers answered a variety of thoughtful questions from the group, offering insight into daily responsibilities and the role police play in keeping Fort Smith safe.
The evening also featured a special appearance by Pawfficer Fuzz, the department’s feline ambassador, who greeted the scouts and added a memorable touch to the experience.
Department officials expressed appreciation to Pack 123 for spending the evening at the station and said they enjoyed hosting the group, noting they look forward to future visits from local scouts and community organizations.
