Fort Smith, Ark. – The Fort Smith Police Department’s Community Relations division announced a new monthly Crime Prevention Series aimed at educating the public on important safety topics.
The first session will focus on youth and teenage safety, covering issues such as common drugs, risky phone apps, and real-life scenarios parents should be aware of.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the FSPD Community Room. Due to limited seating, interested participants must sign up in advance.
The session will feature presentations from Officer Blake Scott of SHIELD Our Youth and detectives from the Special Investigations Unit specializing in juvenile crimes.
They will provide valuable insights and engage in interactive discussions, fostering a safe and informed community environment.
