Fort Smith, Ark. – Officers with the Fort Smith Police Department spent time in the community on January 5, delivering meals to families through the department’s Food Patrol program.
Officer Williams and Officer Shoptaw visited Garden Lodge, where they met with residents and provided meals directly to families.
Department officials said the outreach reflects the importance of meeting community members where they are and helping address basic needs.
The Fort Smith Police Department also thanked Evangel Temple for its continued support, which has made it possible for the Food Patrol program to continue serving families across the city.
