Fort Smith, Ark. – City of Fort Smith, Arkansas recognized Officer Luke Hartman and Special Olympics athlete Stephanie Price for their participation in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Arkansas.
According to officials, Hartman, a member of the Fort Smith Police Department, joined Price in carrying the “Flame of Hope” as part of the final leg of the statewide torch run supporting Special Olympics Arkansas.
The event helps raise awareness and support for Special Olympics athletes across Arkansas while highlighting the partnership between law enforcement agencies and local communities.
City officials praised both participants for helping launch the final stretch of the torch run and representing Fort Smith during the event.
