Fort Smith, Ark. – The City of Fort Smith is turning up the heat this Independence Day with a celebration that promises music, fireworks, and patriotic energy in the heart of downtown.
Set for Friday, July 4 at Harry E. Kelley River Park, the Mayor’s 4th of July Celebration kicks off at 5:00 p.m. and will feature live entertainment, family fun, and a headline performance by rising music star Shaylen, who is scheduled to take the stage at 8:00 p.m.
Her set is expected to energize the crowd just before the night sky lights up with a spectacular fireworks show.
Organizers say the event, presented by River Boy Music Group and Main Street Fort Smith in partnership with Bullfrog Bouncers, will offer an unforgettable evening — and it’s entirely free to the public.
With live music, community vibes, and the glow of fireworks over the Arkansas River, downtown Fort Smith will be the place to celebrate America’s birthday.
Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, gather their friends and family, and arrive early to enjoy the festivities.
