Fort Smith, Ark. – Fort Smith residents demonstrated significant community spirit during the recent Boots & Badges Blood Drive, nearly reaching the goal of 80 successful donations with 78 units collected from 92 participants.
The Fort Smith Police Department secured the top spot in votes with 50, followed by the Fire Department with 32 and the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office with 10. The Police Department retains its position as the leading contributor.
The next blood donation event, titled Give Like A Champ, is scheduled for Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Fort Smith Convention Center, located at 55 S Seventh St.
Donors at the upcoming drive will receive a limited-edition “We The Champs” T-shirt while supplies last. Additionally, 50 donors and up to three guests each will be invited to an exclusive meet-and-greet event with NBA Champion and Fort Smith native Jaylin Williams. Ten donors will also have the chance to win autographed merchandise from Williams. It is important to note that Williams will not be present during the blood drive.
