Construction to widen Interstate 30 to six lanes in Saline County requires closing the Highway 67 on-ramp to I-30 east during overnight hours Monday, January 29 and Tuesday night, January 30 in Benton

Fort Smith, Ark. – According to the state officials, working crews will close the ramp from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night for bridge work.

Traffic will not be able to use the I-30 eastbound ramp during this closure and will need to follow the signed detours.

The detour is as follows:

• West on Frontage Road (north of I-30)
• West on I-30 to Exit 106 (Old Military Road)
• South on overpass toward I-30 East on-ramp
• East on I-30

Traffic will be controlled with message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage.

The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds. Areas adjacent to the Interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.
