Cocaine worth $6.5 million seized during a traffic check

Lonoke, Arkansas – After Arkansas police found over 140 pounds of an illegal substance, two suspects were taken into custody.

Around 8:20 p.m. on Monday, June 12, the Arkansas State Police pulled up a truck towing a track hoe on Interstate 40 close to Lonoke.

The truck was carrying 146 pounds of cocaine when ASP halted it.

The street value is thought to be over $6.5 million, according to the authorities.

ASP arrested the defendants and filed the appropriate charges.
