Fort Smith, Ark. – The City of Fort Smith has released the official event map for the Mayor’s 4th of July Celebration, giving attendees an opportunity to plan ahead before the annual Independence Day event.
The celebration is scheduled for July 4, 2026, at Harry E. Kelley River Park, with festivities beginning at 5 p.m.
According to city officials, the event will feature live entertainment, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and a fireworks finale.
The newly released map is intended to help visitors navigate the event grounds and make the most of their experience.
City leaders encouraged residents and visitors to review the map before arriving, noting that advance planning can help attendees locate attractions, vendors, and activity areas more easily throughout the evening.
The Mayor’s 4th of July Celebration is expected to bring community members together for an evening of entertainment and patriotic festivities along the Arkansas River as Fort Smith marks Independence Day.
