Bill Clinton, a former president, speaks in Little Rock’s convention center

Little Rock, Arkansas – Bill Clinton, a former president, visited the Natural State once more this past weekend.

He spoke at the Statehouse Convention Center on Sunday night alongside Larry Hogan, a former governor of Maryland who is seen as a moderate republican.

Hogan and Clinton both expressed concern about political polarization.

If you can agree on the outcome, there are many things you can disagree on, according to Clinton.

Hogan claimed that one of the primary issues with politics at the moment is polarization.

“You know Mr. President, I agree with that I think you can disagree without being disagreeable,” Hogan stated. “We can passionately debate the issues without hating the people on the other side. I think that is one of the things that is wrong with politics today.”

The lecture on Sunday was a part of the Clinton Presidential Center’s Kumpuris Distinguished Lecture Series.

Former President Clinton showed up on Saturday for the funeral service held in Gillett for former congresswoman Marion Berry.
