Fort Smith, ARK – Seven residents in Sebastian County reported having their mailboxes destroyed in a series of vandalism incidents that occurred overnight between December 29 and December 30. The damage took place along Highway 10 East, in the area east of Greenwood, near the Logan County line.
According to the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office, the incidents occurred between 9 p.m. on December 29 and 7:30 a.m. on December 30. The Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the case and believes a white vehicle may have been involved in the destruction of the mailboxes.
Authorities are asking the public for assistance in solving the crime. Anyone with information related to the incidents is encouraged to contact the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office at 479-783-1051. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
