Arkansas – Colonel Mike Hagar, Director of the Arkansas State Police, recognized the Arkansas National Guard Counterdrug Joint Task Force for its 15 years of dedication to the state’s Drug Take Back Initiative.
Brigadier General Chad Bridges accepted the award on behalf of the National Guard.
The Counterdrug Joint Task Force has been instrumental in developing the nationally recognized program, which has improved community safety and strengthened partnerships with law enforcement agencies across Arkansas.
The next Drug Take Back event is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025. State officials, including Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, continue to support the initiative, encouraging residents to participate in efforts to combat the opioid epidemic.
