Arkansas State Police investigating crash that claimed three lives in Clay County

Arkansas – The Arkansas State Police launched an investigation into a single-vehicle crash that claimed three lives late Wednesday night in Clay County.

Around 10:30 p.m. on October 8, 2025, Troopers responded to a report of a wreck on State Highway 211, north of the town of Success.

Upon arrival, they discovered a 2001 Nissan Xterra that had veered off the roadway, entered a ditch, struck a tree, and caught fire.

The driver, Izabella Brasfield, 19, of Marmaduke, along with passengers Tara Calhoun, 19, and Michelle Braman, 45, both of Corning, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
