Arkansas – An Arkansas man was convicted earlier this week after a county jury found him guilty of two counts of indecent assault, kidnapping, and aggravated burglary following an investigation led by Arkansas State Police Special Agents.
Following the verdict, the jury sentenced the defendant to four life sentences plus 60 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections. Officials said the sentences will run consecutively.
The case began on September 10, 2025, when the Waren Police Department received a 911 call from a local resident on behalf of a 20-year-old pregnant victim, who reported that a man broke into her home, beat her, and raped her. Warren police requested assistance from Arkansas State Police’s Criminal Investigation Division.
The defendant was later arrested on September 12, 2025, while already in custody at the DaIIas County Detention Center on unrelated charges.
He was formally charged by Arkansas State Police Special Agents.
Arkansas State Police Colonel Mike Hagar praised the investigation and conviction, crediting investigators, the Arkansas State Crime Lab, prosecutors, and the Bradley County jury for ensuring accountability in the case.
