Fort Smith, Ark – According to the court documents, her name is Kelsey Christine Dampier and she is 27-year-old of Pocola, Oklahoma. Kelsey Christine Dampier pleaded innocent via video before Judge Stephen Tabor.
Kelsey Christine Dampier was charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by certain persons. Bail was set at $500,000 cash.
Police officers responded on Jan. 7 to the 600 block of North 18th Street to a shooting call. They found Joshua Flanagan, 37, local resident, with a gunshot wound in the stomach. He was taken to a hospital where he died.
A witness told police Dampier was upset because her phone had been stolen and Dampier traced her phone to Flanagan. Flanagan and Dampier argued and Dampier pulled out a purple .380-caliber handgun and shot Flanagan once in the stomach.
