Fort Smith, Ark. – Members of Girl Scout Troop 4398 completed a beautification project at Creekmore Park as part of their effort to earn the Girl Scout Silver Award.
Neveah and Sophie painted the pump house at the Creekmore Park wading pool, adding color and character to the park.
The project was selected as the girls’ final step toward earning the Girl Scout Silver Award, which is the second-highest award in Girl Scouting.
The award requires months of preparation and prerequisite work, making the completion of the pump house project an important milestone for the troop members.
The City of Fort Smith thanked Neveah and Sophie for their hard work and contribution to the Creekmore Park community.
