Fort Smith, Ark. – Fort Smith police issued a traffic alert Tuesday after emergency crews responded to a vehicle fire in the 4800 block of Towson Avenue.
According to the Fort Smith Police Department, police and fire personnel were dispatched to the scene of a contained vehicle fire.
Officials said no injuries were reported.
Traffic in the area was expected to be affected until crews completed their work and cleared the scene.
Authorities advised motorists traveling through the area to use caution and remain aware of possible delays while emergency personnel continued operations at the scene.
