Fort Smith, Ark. – Fort Smith Police responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Harriet Avenue and Henderson Street on Friday.
According to the Fort Smith Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene, where the collision resulted in injuries.
The severity of those injuries has not been released.
The department said its Accident Reconstruction Unit responded to conduct an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Motorists were advised to expect traffic disruptions in the area while investigators processed the scene and worked to clear the roadway.
Fort Smith Police urged drivers to use caution and consider alternate routes if traveling through the affected area until the investigation is complete and traffic returns to normal.
