Fort Smith, Ark. – Downtown Fort Smith was filled with western spirit as the annual Old Fort Days Rodeo Parade traveled down Garrison Avenue, officially beginning another week of rodeo festivities in the city.
The parade, recognized as one of Fort Smith’s longest-standing traditions, brought together participants, volunteers, and spectators as community members lined the streets to celebrate the annual event.
Floats, riders, and parade entries made their way through downtown as crowds gathered to watch the kickoff celebration.
City officials thanked everyone who participated in the parade, volunteered during the event, and supported the tradition by attending and cheering along the route.
The Old Fort Days Rodeo Parade continues to serve as a major part of the city’s rodeo celebration each year, drawing residents and visitors to downtown Fort Smith for the longstanding community tradition.
